Magic backing

I hope you're having a wonderful day. Today I'm working on my final Lemonade Stand pattern, the I Made a Tote project bag, which releases for program members and for general sale tomorrow. If you're not a member of the program and want to make the bag, heres a cheeky code for 10% off the pattern for you - as usual, the pattern is chock full of information, and comes with information about how to make a mini quilt to go with it, and video instruction. Today I'm also working on getting the next border on to my log cabin quilt. I'm running very behind with it, theres still two borders to appliqué and I leave for my holiday next Saturday... I really wanted it basted while I'm away so I am going to have to sew like the wind. It goes to show you how a few weeks of turmoil can throw absolutely everything out of whack! The best laid plans of mice and men... and quilters :)

I did find the most perfect backing for it though. I ordered it a while ago, and it's just come in as its a brand new collection. It's from Selvedge Magic by Ruby Star Society for Moda. I love it so much that its inspired a few of the motifs I'm going to appliqué into the next border, which is fun. I'm looking forward to showing you all the next bit when it's finished - hopefully by Wednesday or I'm in big trouble with my deadline.
