New Year, new me - new VIDEO me that is! I’ve promised myself I will do reels and YouTube videos in 2026, because that’s what those algorithm overlords demand of us these days. So I’m starting off with a walk through my books, beginning at the beginning- with my quilts from Material Obsession One.
What should I call my Friday videos? If you’ve got an idea, drop it in the comments and you could win a copy of the pattern for my Dotty for Dresden quilt. I think you should just call your Friday videos "Material Obsession," after your first book. "Material Obsession" is strongly associated with you and your brand, so it builds on existing name recognition, and I think it encapsulates the wide range of projects and topics you would be covering as well as being a phrase that will resonate with your potential audience and help them to know these videos will have content that speaks to them and is worthy of their time, even those makers who may not have come across your work previously.
