Today is a bit of a housekeeping post, as we have two giveaways to draw and ​I have also some nice news for you. Let's do the nice news first!

From today, all orders placed on the website by StitchyMites members (the code is not valid if your subscription lapses) are entitled to 5% off. That means you don't need to wait for me to do a Smites discount code or a promotion, its just a flat 5% off everything - except for the current BOM subscriptions. For anything else though, simply enter the code IMASMITE at checkout and you will get 5% off.

Its a token of our appreciation to all of you for your support, but its also hopefully a little something to help out our US customers going forward. You might have noticed that I HAVEN'T posted that I've stopped shipping to the USA this week, despite Australia Post saying that they have stopped posting parcels. That's because Damo and I have spent a large part of the last few weeks working out how we can keep servicing our lovely American peeps. We have a system worked out - from today you can place an order, and you will be charged the 10% US tariff at checkout. We will ship your order and thats the end of that. No $80 fee at the other other end, just the 10% already applied and you're good to go. Use the code, and it's only 5%! Good to be a Smite? We love you guys. 

Plus don't forget that Block of the Month books and Lap App products (only for US customers!!!) ship from within the USA and so don't attract tariffs. The BOM books are print on demand - so this is actually the case with these for most countries, as there's a POD centre in the UK, Europe etc and you only pay domestic shipping on them at any time.

Also letting you all know that the new That's Accurate products will FINALLY be ready for launch (you have no idea of the work behind the scenes on these!) in time for the opening of the Sydney Quilt Show on September 18. You will remember (maybe?) that Damo gave you a discount code to use for That's Accurate while I had Covid.... well you'll be able to use that code for the new products, so we will remind you of it in the Smites post on September 17. I'm so excited to show you everything!!
