This quilt was named for my friend’s little niece. When asked what her favorite color was, she said, “I love pink, and purple, and red, and blue—oh, I just love all the colors!” I love all the colors, too, and so the quilt got its name.

The separation of the blue and red blocks in this quilt creates a nice secondary pattern, but you could just as easily make this quilt with scraps and it would still look great. The diagonal lines separate the blocks and allow you to play with color in a free a manner as you please. This quilt looks wonderful on my bed, as the appliqué at the top runs along the pillows and the flowers at the bottom drop over the edge.
