This is such a light and pretty throw! Mix large- and medium-size print fabrics so that you create contrasts of scale: if all the print patterns were similar in size, the effect would be overpowering, as there would be nowhere for the eye to rest.

Instructions are given for you to make this quickie in several sizes—use some of your favorite bold patterns and try some creative colorways of your own. You may surprised at how different it can look: my original version of this quilt was in a graphic black-and- charcoal colorway, which has a much bolder, more contemporary feel
