Sarah’s Slodki pattern is the full pattern and video instruction from her 2026 Block of the Month quilt, broken out into chapters.
The new BOM quilt is called Słodki - that means Sweet in Polish, and it’s pronounced Swod-ki. The reason it's named in Polish is because it’s inspired by vintage and antique tapestries and kilim rugs.
This absolute sweetie is a combination of piecing and appliqué - probably the most piecing by ratio that my BOM quilts have had prior to this. They really are MOSTLY PIECED BLOCKS, with some appliqué added for spunk. It’s all straight patchwork- no foundation paper or Y seams.
It comes in two sizes - queen sized quilt and small throw.
Large finished quilt size: 92inch (230cm) square, queen bed size
