Finished block size: 9 in. (23 cm)  

I pieced this quilt at a time when my life was having some ups and downs, as everyone’s does. I love the way the duller, textured linen contrasts with the smooth, bright colors of the patchwork fabrics. You can run the zig- zags across the quilt for those days when life is bumpy, or down the quilt when everything is smooth sailing!
