I think that I enjoyed making this quilt the most of any. I love to hand- appliqué, and the combination of the bright scraps and Anna Maria Horner’s beautiful rose print in the large triangles made hand-quilting a joy. The added dimension of the free tabs in the outer border gives the quilt a fluttery feeling that complements the windmill of flowers in the centre.
