These little guys are usually very difficult to spot and also not seen usually during the day. I’m also getting the projects finished up so that I can reveal what we will be making each day. When I finish work for the day, I sit and have a chat to you all. Final edits of the four new BOM books I’m releasing in late January have almost been completed (Rainy Days I love the little squirrel in the top corner, I was particularly happy with his tail. Happy stitching Sarah xx

I feel very lucky and very happy. Of course it wasn't all holiday - I taught in The Netherlands for two days - but usually when I take these trips, I get maybe a week of holiday at the most, taken in grabs of a day or two here and there I hope to visit it one day myself - but as soon as Oss showed me the photos I was completely enchanted So you learn something new every day.

It’s been a bit of day in my studio.  were other people out there who wanted to make mad, whimsical quilts full of spots and ginghams and happiness I was so happy to find these women, I felt I’d made friends long before I ever met either of them. The quilt shop was a respite, a slight brain refresh before she had to go and deal with the day to day It was early days in the shop, and one of my first insights into how important a quilt shop (and a quilt Some days my job is a job, but some days it's an absolute privilege.  When I'm happy, I sew. We had a few days in Paris together last year, and we're doing it again in October!

Yep I was gone a total of 6 days including travel, with about 36 hours flying time built in. Even when I have a stand I try to go over to the show really early one day and squeeze the quilts in. knowledge of quilting techniques and history is pretty thorough and I’ll try to answer them all for you :) Happy
